Photo Festival 2024
Head On Photo Festival is a world leading annual event showcasing Australian and international artists across Sydney presented by the non-profit organisation Head On Foundation.
The Festival is a major platform for discovering new talent, re-discovering established artists and exploring new technologies and ideas through exhibitions, workshops, discussion and collaboration with other events.
At the Festival's heart are the Head On Photo Awards in Portrait, Landscape and Student categories.
The Foundation also runs an extensive year-round public engagement program including workshops, seminars, artists talks, exhibitions and portfolio reviews. Head On celebrates all genres and techniques covering photojournalism, commercial, fine art, mobile phone photography and multimedia.

The Artists Paradise (TAP) Gallery is a non-profit, non-curatorial visual art space in Surry Hills, Sydney for all kinds of artists.
TAP's guiding philosophy and policy is to be inclusive of all.
Nudes on TAP 2024 is open to the public daily from 12pm to 6pm 18th - 30th November 2024.

Nudes on TAP
2024
Nudes on TAP is a non-acquisitive Australian group exhibition for artistic nude photography. It has been held at TAP Gallery every year since 2004. This year the exhibition will be held from 18th November to 30th November 2024.
The purpose of the exhibition is to provide photographers, who create in the genre of artistic nude, an affordable means in which their art works can be displayed to the public in a gallery setting.
The intent of Nudes on TAP is to foster and grow a unique art photography community. To assist individual photographers grow professionally and further increase their potential.
The end state that Nudes on TAP seeks to achieve is the growth of photographers and models in this particular genre of photography. As well during the Head On Photo Festival that the public can view the exhibition and appreciate the art worthiness and creativity of the artistic nude photography on display.
Awards and prizes
The panel of five judges will decide on the awards of 1st Prize and Monochrome Award.
1st prize is $500 sponsored by Images of Nudes (ION) Magazine.
The Monochrome Award is $300 and a half-day studio hire sponsored by Art of Light Studios in Balmain, Sydney.
The Volunteers Award for Student or Emerging Photographer is chosen by the volunteers who set up the exhibition on 17th November 2024.
The Volunteers Award book prizes are a biography of Max Dupain and one of Olive Cotton sponsored by Paul Wesley.
The Peoples' Choice Award is chosen by those attending the Awards Night of Saturday 23rd November 2024.
The Peoples' choice award prize is a studio lighting kit sponsored by Photo Shop Studios in Sydney.
